Puppy Training for Any Breed or Size Puppy

Housebreaking:  Is your puppy having accidents in the home?
Lets eliminate the guesswork and housebreak even the most stubborn puppy, so you can stop worrying about finding accidents when you arrive home from work and begin enjoying your puppy.

Puppy Biting and Mouthing:  Does your puppy bite and mouth when you try to pet them, chew on your clothes, and chase your kids?
This is normal behavior, but it’s important your puppy learns in a safe and positive way, what they can and can not bite/chew on.

Walking on Leash:  Is walking your puppy difficult and unenjoyable for both of you?
Teach your puppy to walk nicely on leash, so you can enjoy a comfortable and relaxed walk.

High Energy:  Does your puppy become easily over excited and begin jumping or biting?
Don’t correct your puppy.  Instead, we teach them how to be calm around the house.

Obedience Training:  Does your puppy ignore your commands to “Come”, “Drop It”, or “Stay”?
These are bad habits for a puppy to learn, so early training is essential.  I will help you to teach your dog to listen even around a lot of distractions.

My goal is to help your puppy become a happy and polite member of your family for many years to come.  It’s always best to use puppyhood as the time to be proactive and prevent issues, than  to wait and retrain an adult dog with problems.  Start training your puppy today, so you can live stress-free and fully enjoy your dog.  Learn about my Puppy Training Programs below…

FAQ’s
– “What about puppy classes or training at a pet store?”
Those are possible options, but they have significant limitations.  My in-home training is a personalized one-on-one program which teaches your dog how to be well-behaved in your home, not just in a classroom.  This allows us to focus solely on your puppy without the distractions of other dogs.

– “Is my puppy too young for training?”
It is best to start training as early as possible.  Owners with the most well-behaved and happy dogs, are the ones who were proactive in training.  This enables you to lay a proper foundation that will last a lifetime.  Puppy training starts at 8 weeks old.

– “How much time does training take?”
Proper training should not require a lot of time.  Puppies are like children, they are constantly learning and observing.  If we set clear expectations from the start, it becomes part of their life.  I only ask owners to spend just 5-10mins twice a day teaching their dog.  You will be amazed at what you can accomplish with proper training.

– “Won’t my puppy just ‘grow out of it’?”
Whatever unwanted behaviors you are experiencing with your puppy now, will not go away on its own.  If anything, it gets progressively worse and can lead to other undesired behaviors.  It’s always best to stop the bad behavior and replace it with a good behavior as soon as possible.  I work with countless owners who are struggling with serious and difficult behavior issues, so it’s much easier to prevent behavior problems then it is to correct later on.
