Sunny is a four year old Mini Labradoodle that is part of my Emotional Support Animal Training in Westchester NY. Her owners have had Sunny since she was a puppy and now want to make her their Emotional Support Animal. Sunny is exceling in my program, which goes to show the old wives tale that “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”, is clearly false when you use the right training approach.
Sunny’s family are taking a trip from New York to Canada, which requires her to travel multiple hours on a plane and in a busy airport. In order to help prepare Sunny for this traveling, we have significantly improved her level of obedience, to the point where she “Heels” at her owners side when walking on leash and will maintain a “Down” and “Place” command for long durations and while out in public with a high level of distraction. In order to elevate her reliability, we have taken her to stores and shopping centers, as a part of her Emotion Support Animal training.
Emotional Support Animal Training in Westchester NY
Tucker is a 10 week old Australian Labradoodle whose owners are first time dog owners. One of their goals is for him to be an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) for their son. So they contacted me before they even received Tucker from the breeder, in order to begin Emotional Support Animal Training in Westchester NY.
Since Tucker is such a young puppy, we are not only focusing on his Emotion Support Animal Training in Westchester NY, but we are also addressing started puppy training components. This consists of housebreaking, crate training, establishing proper behavior and household manners. We are also beginning to teach him proper obedience commands such as: Sit, Down, Come, Heel, Place, and Drop It.
